Order a Free Credit Report: Your credit report - a type of consumer report - contains information about where you work, live, how you pay your bills, and may show whether you have filed for bankruptcy or had a monetary judgment against you. Because businesses use this information to evaluate your applications for credit, insurance, employment, and other purposes allowed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), it is important that the information in your report is complete and accurate.
Consumers are now able to obtain one free credit report per year from each of the three nationwide consumer credit reporting companies--Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian. You can request a report from each agency at the same time, or stagger your requests over a 12-month period. Ecolab Credit Union reports your credit history to Equifax and Trans Union.

Common forms of unclaimed property include savings or checking accounts, stocks, uncashed dividends or payroll checks, refunds, traveler's checks, trust distributions, unredeemed money orders or gift certificates (in some states), insurance payments or refunds and life insurance policies, annuities, certificates of deposit, customer overpayments, utility security deposits, mineral royalty payments, and contents of safe deposit boxes.
